Deer in the Headlights

Have you ever had one of those moments where you just completely zone and forget about what you are doing?? I had one of those moments tonight. I played acoustic in Big House, and the first song was just about to begin. For some reason I thought the synth was starting this song and then I heard the drummer give a stick count, and I thought, "Wow, that's weird that he'd give a stick count for the synth player(no offense to all synth players out there)" Well the whole band hit the first chord, and I was just staring at scott and I see him give a motion for me to start strumming, and then it hits me....I was starting the song...not the synth player. Me and Scott chatted afterwards and he said, "Krista you had a look on your face like a deer in the headlights of a car!" And that's how it happened, my first time ever of playing in Big House, I am referred to as A Deer looking into the headlights of a car. Other than that the songs went great tonight, and I'm very excited to play again tomorrow....thanks Jesus for allowing me to learn how to play the guitar....all glory and honor and praise to you!!!
