Tandem Ride

One thing my friend HiL and I love to do is ride her tandem. A tandem is a two person bike for all you peole who have been sheltered from tandem knowledge. We decided to ride past Joe and Elizabeth's house. As we approached we noticed there were a lot of cars in their driveway, so we just slowly rode by and tried to look in the window. Then we made our way to the Seben's house. So, we began riding along 38th street, staying away from the cars and all of a sudden HiL cracks up and yells...that was Kate who just drove by!!! We started busting up...and I almost forgot that I was driving the tandem...but luckily I kept the bike moving straight and didn't crash into anything. We arrived at the Seben's, but no one was there so we headed back to HiL's house.

After leaving HiL's I called Elizabeth to see what she was up to. She was having some sort of pampered chef party and said I should stop by to see Elise(her 5 yr. old daughter) When I got there, I went to the back and said hey to Elise, and she insited that I come say hi to her mom as well. I walked into this room full of women who all just stared at me. Elizabeth said hey and then looked to a friend and said "I have to tell her!!"

"Tell me what??" I said
"Well, I told my friends that Elise's friend was coming over to see her, and they all saw you walk up and said...Is she slow or something???"

I think it's time for Elizabeth to stop calling me Elise's friend...otherwise I'm going to be "slow" in a lot of people's minds.


So that my friends was a bit of my day yesterday. Basically I just hung out with my friends all day......and then I came home, and cleaned the basement spick and span(at 11pm)....to surpise the rents for the morning!!
