Christmas

Christmas was enjoyable this year. Before opening presents my dad read thru the Luke 2 version of Jesus's birth. I then re-took the whole family through it explaining some background and keywords(thanks to my mentor). It was a good way to start of the day. After opening many gifts(all of which I enjoy!) we ate brunch and then my grandparents came over. We ate dinner with them, and then I went to another Christmas party. It was fun to play game with many friends. The day overall went very well. But the thing that I enjoyed most about it, was that I kept thinking about how amazing Jesus's birth must have been to all the oppressed people. I can not even imagine what a joyful day that must have been for those people. Jesus, thank you for coming to this earth as a man!!
