SCHOOL TIME!!
I know what most of you are thinking! School, WHAT?? NOW???? Yes! I'm in school. I find it funny that I've been doing everything backwards. I graduated early and was OUT of school when everyone was IN school and now I'm IN school when everyone's OUT of school. I'm taking 2 classes at Scott Community College. Publice Speaking and some general Computer class. My public speaking class is hilarious. It's 3.5 hours long....crazy!! My teaching is this crazy, loud, interesting black women who gets excited about everything. So far the 2 classes I've been to have gone by rather quickly. Despite some obstacles such as driving from chicago at 4:30 am to get to the first class ontime and staying up late talking on the phone the night before my 2nd class. But hey, that's what college is all about right?? Havin a great time and making some great memories!
My computer teacher honestly scares me. He is a retired sargeant of the army, smells like smoke, and doesn't give a crap whether we come to class or not because either way he gets paid the same amount. I am only asked to stay during the 1st hour which is lecture time and then I am free to go home and work on my assignments. I love the freedom this class gives me!
I know nothing else about the college. I know the halls make me feel like I'm in a sterile hospital. The students range from my age to grandma's. No one really knows who or what the mascott is. The book store has a lot of gear saying "Scott or Scott community". I must admit I will not be buying any of this, unless of coarse i get the "Scott" gear and that would only be honor of my boss Scott Schaefer, for letting me intern with him.
So high school is gone, college has come, and I'm ready!!
Thanks to those of you who have encouraged me along throughout high school and supported me already in these first few days of college:)
