Kate the Great

Meet my mentor Kate. I met her three years ago on a charter bus to IWU for a conference. And that's when it all began. It's hard to explain with words the whereabouts and thoughts of Kate. Imagery is all I've got.

Ah yes, the wonderful healing powers of Kate. Look at the armor of God and how it is being used in and thru her.

Kate's #1 opponent. some days are rough...

others are triumphant!!!

Yep, she's musical too. Ask and you shall recieve her #1 hit on piano(learned as a child and it's just stuck with her all this time)

Our basement band may have started off small...

But she managed to get us on the Big House Stage for Jenn's birthday band

We couldn't forget the lovely orange vest

All in all I'm glad I met Kate. She's an awesome person to experience life with!

For those of you who don't live around here or do and haven't seen me yet....this is my new hairstyle and haircut. Annie and I decided to get our hair re-done together and this is how it turned out. What do you think???

Sidetracked

This is what our sink normally looks like...


And this is what happens when a lot is on your mind and you forget the water is running...




One of my chores today was to clean the kitchen. I, of coarse, had many dishes to wash. I set them all in the sink, squirted some soap in and turned on the water.

Unfortunately, I got side tracked by some other things and many minutes later I came back to a bubbly and overflowing sink. Thankfully we have a double sink so it was all pouring into the next sink where all the water drained. I am glad there was no mopping involved today.

May Day

Well....today is my 18th bday. Yep that's right, 18 years ago I was born. Life so far has been wonderful. Thanks to all my friends and family who've made this day great so far!!
