What a beautiful day!

It is 42 degrees here in St.Paul, Minnesota. It's so funny to me how when warmer weather hits, spirits across campus are high. Many people were outside today in flip flops and short sleeves. It may sound like it's a bit chilly for that, but compared to temps in the negatives for the last few weeks, 42 seems like 80 here! It was great not lugging my coat, mittens, hat, and scarf around all day. The window to my room has been wide open all day, and i hope it will be able to stay open all night! What a beautiful day!

Ministry Team

As many of you may know, I'm on a ministry worship team here at Bethel. This morning we went out to our 1st church of the semester. It was a sweet little church in woodbury. The people there were very welcoming and supportive of our team. Me, on acoustic and singing lead, along with Mark(percussion) and peter(bass) lead the music for their service. They took an offering for us during the service, and blessed us beyond words. It's been a great day so far. Thank you Jesus!

This Valentine's Day, I electricuted myself

It's my first valentines day in college. Some friends gave me valentines, and my parents sent me a fun card and a little gift of money:) Friends are dressed up in different shades of pink and red. But what did I do on Valentine's day this year? I ELECTRICUTED MYSELF! After dinner I came back to my room and was picking up a little bit. I went to unplug a cord one-handed and before i knew what had happened I got a good zap. My arm hurt for a while. But now it just has that num feeling to it. This will be a hard valentine's day to forget!

Oops!!!

Some friends and I decided to spice up our saturday night at bethel by going out to dinner and then tie-dying some t-shirts for the Superbowl game. We went to walmart and bought our supplies. Then we laid out trash bags and began mixing the dye. I was in the bathroom getting some water when all of a sudden I heard "KRISTA!! GRAB SOME PAPER TOWELS!!! QUICK!!!!!!!!!" I raced into the room with some paper towels to see Ashley W. and Ashley T.( my roomie) with blue die splattered all over them and Ashley W. had her digital camera in her hand. Apparently while attempting to get the camera away from the dye she lost her grip and her camera fell into the bucket of blue dye!!! We cleaned it up the best that we could and let it sit out to dry while we made our t-shirts.


The t-shirts turned out well!!(mine is on the far right) Unfortunately, there's little hope for Ashley's camera working again:( But what a great night of laughter!!

I'd like to point out that, according to the weather channel, it is -4 outside and it feels like -21!!!!! It's a very chilly day here in St.Paul!

It might even be too cold for me to go four-wheeling. It's not like I have a four wheeler, but my friend does and last time we went it was a blast!!!

Sledding was fun! But being pulled behind the four-wheeler in the toboggan was even better!!!
